Sanjay Sugumaran, founder of Arcadia Legal, is a distinguished legal practitioner specializing in civil, criminal, corporate, and commercial litigation. A graduate of Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, he provides expert counsel to trusts, educational institutions, hospitals, real estate firms, and commercial entities. His expertise spans arbitration, criminal law, corporate law, cross-border litigation, enforcement of foreign judgments, intellectual property, banking, family law, and real estate disputes. He has successfully represented clients in high-profile litigations, medical negligence cases, and complex matters before High Courts and tribunals.
Before Arcadia Legal, he co-founded De Novo Law Firm, leading major legal negotiations and dispute resolutions. A passionate advocate for human rights, his research was presented at the 3rd World Congress on Human Rights & Legal Studies in Barcelona. He is also committed to legal education, delivering guest lectures and teaching IPR courses. His achievements include winning the Best Memorandum at the IASLA Space Moot Court Competition – Asia Pacific Rounds. Recognized as one of the leading legal minds in the South Asian Pacific region, Sanjay’s strategic acumen and commitment to excellence continue to shape the legal landscape.
Abhinand Erubothu, a founding member and Principal Associate at Arcadia Legal, brings extensive expertise in civil, corporate, intellectual property, and criminal law. A graduate of Hidayatullah National Law University with a specialization in Corporate Law, he further honed his skills with a postgraduate degree in Intellectual Property Rights from National Law University Jodhpur.
Renowned for his research and drafting prowess, Abhinand has made significant contributions to Geographical Indications, governance, and public policy. His hands-on research approach and deep understanding of regulatory complexities enhance his strategic legal insights. Albin John Dass is a dynamic legal professional specializing in litigation and the evolving intersections of technology and corporate law. A first-generation lawyer, he focuses on AI governance, data privacy, cybersecurity, fintech, and digital contracts, offering strategic legal solutions for businesses adapting to technological advancements.
A graduate of St. Joseph’s College of Law and a member of the Karnataka State Bar Council, Albin has a diverse litigation practice spanning civil, criminal, family, consumer protection, labor, NDPS, and RERA matters across Bengaluru, Chennai, and Madurai. Beyond litigation, he advises startups and corporations on compliance, structured contracts, intellectual property, and regulatory frameworks, backed by certifications in cyber law, fintech, and medical law.

A Karnataka State Law University graduate, Kushal honed his analytical skills at Republic TV, leading legal research for prime-time shows and analyzing landmark cases like the Babri Masjid dispute, Triple Talaq, and Aadhaar rulings. He later became a partner at Trident Law Partners before founding Koushik and Kashyap in 2024, earning recognition for his banking law expertise at trial and High Courts.

A graduate of Hidayatullah National Law University, Raipur, he has practiced in Bengaluru, Mumbai, and New Delhi, handling high-stakes arbitration, cross-border litigation, and corporate disputes.
Rohit has represented major clients, including a top merchant payment platform in IP disputes and a leading mining company challenging state policy. In Mumbai, he focused on domestic and international arbitration, advising on global dispute strategies and briefing counsel in jurisdictions like Singapore and DIFC. In New Delhi, he managed litigation for a Fortune 500 company and India’s leading oncological care provider, crafting proactive dispute strategies to mitigate risks and encourage early resolution.
